Joe is an expert in the design, application, and investigation of disruptive technologies. Within the growing area of FinTech, Joe specializes in blockchain and numerous related technologies, including cryptocurrencies (crypto), crypto valuation, and blockchain forensics.

Prior to launching his academic career, he spent more than 20 years on Wall Street, using financial models to consistently outperform the market as a principal and co-founder of a securities investment firm.

Joe earned his Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, his MBA from Marquette University, and his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Purdue University.
